I did the daily development update this morning on my VU Ultimo 4K.

Since doing this, it is constantly boot looping.

Is there anything I can do to rescue it?

Crash log attached.

Is there anything I can do to rescue my box, or must I flash the image again from start?

Assuming you're on develop: if the latest build ( did you do an "opkg update && opkg upgrade" ? ), doesn't fix it, either manially make the change Dimitrij is point at (install enigma2-src first if needed), flash, or wait till at least Tuesday as we're in the proces of rebuiding build servers.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Yes, I am on the nightly develop.

I updated in the normal way via the Ultimo 4K menu.

Settings / software update or whatever it is.

I can't check as the box is unusable at the moment.

I am not a Linux programmer, so is there a simple way for me to bring the box back into use or do I need to flash an image?

If you're not a programmer, and you can't these with development issues, you should not be running an instable development image?

The only way to fix this is via the commandline, either edit the broken file manually, or wait until our build farm is up and running again, and then update from the commandline.

Maybe we can put a wget line here that downloads the Picon.py to the correct location….
But everyone who use Develop should expect this could happen. But this time due to the upgrade (hardware) from the buildservers the moment was unlucky timing. I just saw the Develop build did start….
