HI All,

Migrating from a working VU zero working fine on openpli 7 (to shut down tv (samsung) etc) to a new SF8008 supreme

New SF8008 I've put on Openpli 9.0 and enabled CEC but nothing works. I've tried plugging out everything except the TV and box. Powering everything fully off and back on.

Tv reports as address 1.0.0.0 on the settings I've also tried cec plugin but I am not getting any response.

Open ATV is on a free slot but I dont yet know how to change between slots to see if its an open pli issue or a hardware issue or how to I troubleshoot  further

No problem here on my SF8008 connected to a Samsung TV ( currently running develop, but also no issue With OpenATV and OpenVIX ).

There is a hdmitest plugin the feeds that can show you the communication between the devices.

Attached Files

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Will have to do more debuging tomorrow, I guess a dump of the working box log vs the non working box will shed some light on it. The plugin has not been fruitfull. I only want the tv to turn off with the box. Whats weird is that the cec or (anytimenet) does not even show in a menu on the samsung tv. But clearly it is there as it works with Open pli 7.1 on my Vu zero

Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) does not depend on enigma2.

It either is or it is not.
