Hello everybody,

Among other devices I am using also an SF8008 running OpenPLi 9.

The following livestream is one of those not working as it should:

#SERVICE 5001:0:1:CE4:69:212C:1860000:0:0:0:https%3a//mcdn.antennaplus.gr/live/media0/Ant1/HLS/Ant1.m3u8:ΑΝΤ1

Either with 5001 or 5002, the audio stream is missing although it is running fine on Windows SMPlayer.

Is there any trick to solve it ?

Further on I would like to know if there is any chance to record 5001 and 5002 streams like 4097.

Thank you for reading.

The stream is blocked outside Greece, so difficult to say what exactly the problem is. It could be a non-supported audio format (codec), or the gstreamer audio codec isn't installed (only the commonly used ones are pre-installed).

Further on I would like to know if there is any chance to record 5001 and 5002 streams like 4097.

The player needs to support that, and the only one that does is serviceMP3, which services type 4097 on most boxes (mutant and zgemma use a different player, and can't record 4097 either).

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

The stream is playing fine (screenshot attached) also with german IP where I am located.

So for recording 5001/5002 services I have to watch out for other solutions.

DVB Viewer Pro works for sure.
For Android I have not found yet anything.

Nevertheless thank you very much for answering so quickly.

I get a HTTP 404 (in the UK), with

Google-Edge-Cache: forbidden
Error: 7

so maybe it is blocked outside the EU ( ah, those Brexit benefits :( )

AAC is a pretty standard codec, so without being able to look at it, not really any idea what could cause this.

Thanks for reminding me about this.

Indeed manually you can start recording 5002 services but it is limited to just one livestream, 1h and even then it does not take the name from the EPG.

The solution I am looking for is creating recording timers based on the EPG and simultanously more than from one livestream.
This should be possible on DVB Viewer Pro with additional Media Server add on but I will have to set up another PC for 24/7 standby recording and marry EPG on each livestream with EPG-Buddy which I could not achieve yet.
