The option "Number of channels shown in channel selection list" is a bit off the mark in "Two lines" mode.
If for instance the configuration is set to 11 entries, which would be a good fit, the channel list will show only 5 channels per page.

That is fully correct… with 11 and 2 lines you see about 5 service each service takes about two lines
To see 10 lines you need to set 20…
Only that way you can change between the modi without wierd things are happening.

With the teletext button you can toggle between the modi... maybe then you understand why it is done like this

 

For e.g.  OpenPLi 10 we can consider to add two different settings for this one...

 

We even have skins were the 2nd line is smaller... so when you have one row per channel the settings is right and when you want to show two lines you get even more than half.

This is really a feature that asked for an instant switching... E.g. the E2OS skin has when you set it e.g. to 20.... 20 in one row mode and 12 in 2 row mode... because the 2nd line has less height.

 

In OpenPLi 10 we can e.g. enable the HELP button also in the channel selection screen (and more screens)... so you can get more 'help' to see what each button does....
