Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

I don't get it.
You have a DM8000, with OpenPLi 8.3, but no installed driver for its tuners? How is that possible?

with one difference, I haven't seen a dm8000 clone yet.....

bcm4505 works in that box with different software but not with openpli. that is why i ask question.
i had to install drivers for colour rgb-tft screen duet to work with openpli.
@Tech there are dm8000 clones. Minue is genuine one i bought for tone of money quite some time ago in germany.

Compare /lib/modules/<version>/extra from both OpenPLi and "the different software", what is the difference?
Does it work if you copy that directory from the working image to OpenPLi and reboot?
