As far I can see I cannot merge it.

well one expects feedback, I do a lot of things for the teams, for pli atv etc..

To fix old plugins.. I don't want the gold medal, I didn't ask for it, I don't even want a merge. But since I'm not the owner of the plugin I can only keep quiet.

 

I've done about 60/70 plugins. Over the years, if I had seen one on the pli feeds.. Almost all of them are on atv.. Who knows why

I know… but at atv for example you can simply ‘dump’ an ipk on their forum and it is done. But you can forget about auto install with a flash etc… in between a lot of e2openplugins are forked and they are using the fork. E2openplugins was once planned since dream multimedia did not allow us anymore to use their web interface. Forks while never merging stuff back are horrible in open source. Exactly this is happening here…

As far I can see everything is merged now except for one German translation. As far I can see you did it yourself.

I understand your politics, and I'm not upset about it.

But at least try it

It doesn't matter I repeat.

Mine is just a hobby.. I don't live off it.

So I don't see even 1 of my many plugins.. Others do and there are some..

 

If nobody asks, nothing happens. We're not in the business of creating work by adding as many plugins as possible, without any demand.

 

As to plugins that are built: in a non-release image they are always build from HEAD, in release images they are pinned on commit hash, and never auto-update unless the commit hash is manually updated (ideally after thorough compatibility testing).

 

What exactly needs to happen, as I haven't followed it, been very busy with 9.1 release issues?

I help various teams. without naming names.

I found some gaps in some .py but I see that you are on the right track, unlike previous versions, 9.1 is much faster.

It would be necessary to eliminate some default plugins that no one ever uses and perhaps insert something more useful.

Eg. cutcuster .. etc.. Anyway I repeat. I have no problem, it was just to clarify and inform you, that when you do something, if no one tries it, it seems like a useless thing.
