Hello, I am Hotbird 13. OpenATV 7.4 Hotbird does not show channels. How should the tuner settings be? There is only one cable at home. The satellite device does not show Turksat and Hotbird. It says signal is zero.

Why ask here? Ask on the ATV forum instead.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

It is the same if you ask LG questions about your problems with a Samsung TV.
You should ask the maker of the TV, in this case the maker who made the image for your STB which is openatv, so you should ask the question there instead of here.

Hi.

Personally, I don't think there's a bug in Enigma2 (OpenATV or OpenPLi). The questioner probably overlooked that it's on the PLi forum and not the ATV forum :).

Anyway... the problem can be, for example, when transferring a backed-up configuration of tuned satellite channels from another Linux set-top box, where a different type of LNB converter was used. This happens to me often, for example, if ports A and B are on the other side of some LNBs. Then the DiSEqC switch understandably doesn't work correctly, because it expects a different satellite on port A than in the previous setting from the previous set-top box (with a different LNB).

I recommend first checking and re-setting the tuner (LNB) in the set-top box. Then start tuning the channels.

The "0" signal does not necessarily mean a tuner error. It could be a non-existent channel or a non-existent transponder (so it's without a signal).

The connection strength can also be tested directly in the tuner configuration - this applies to both PLi and ATV. There is also a signal finder function in the MENU for this purpose, which shows the signal strength on various transponders (frequencies), which the user switches himself in the set-top box.

If you are sure that there is no error in what I have listed, then it could be an error on the electrical/HW level. So the error could be in a poorly prepared and poorly connected coaxial cable... and so on.
