Check the network settings, if the DNS address is set correctly.

I don't think it's a server problem. I ran an update 5 minutes ago. After the update I'm getting this error message too, when trying an update again...

I'll have a look, I'm currently building the latest develop to test.

Could be an issue with my change from https to http (you don't need https to download, and you do need the correct time on the box for https).

Crash in the C code, reported by a few other people.

For now, we suspect there is something in your channel list that isn't expected and causes the code to crash when it is processed.

Can you put all files with extensions .tv and .radio from /etc/enigma2 in a zip file and attach it here (or send it to me in PM if you don't want it public) ?

Better. I've removed the attachment, because it included the full /etc directory, which includes security sensitive files.

As far as I can see, there is nothing invaliid in the channel list, so that isn't the cause of the crash.

When EXACTLY does this crash happen? What steps do you take to get to that point?

After the initiation of the build, it asks for the restore of the user settings, which commences fine... then it executes installing plugins etc... It then reboots agian resulting in a greenscreen with failures ..... It reboots and loops to that green screen... hope that is a bit clear....

Ok, so it crashes as soon as it starts up.

This needs to be looked at by a developer I'm afraid.

I've added the sanitized bouquet files and enigma config. I haven't tested yet if that last one has any influence.
