Help the microsoft hardware graveyard to become les bigger.
And it is less worse for the enviroment this way.
I found this article on the internet from the Dell forum.
You can upgrade from 10 to 11 or do a clean install that way.
All software upgrade functions are working. Even new driver upgrades etc.
First make a backup of your data, etc.
I tested it and it works without restrictions.
I saved many laptops and desktops from 7 or years older from being unnecessary waisted.
The speed of your "new" win 11 machine is the same as you are used to from what it was from win 10.
Note:
Create a hybrid Windows 10/11 USB flash drive.
Use Windows 10 Media Creation Tool to create a Windows 10 64-bit USB.
Then download latest Windows 11 ISO from Microsoft support site and mount it (Open with File Explorer).
Navigate to folder sources and copy the file install.esd Open the same folder in the USB, delete the file install.esd from the folder and paste the one from the ISO. That's it.
Boot with this USB to install Windows 11 without compatibility check.

NB. It could be that you have to convert install.wim to install.esd.
I used a free conversion tool for that.
