Is this feature available/submitted to CVS?

I'm not sure whether we already submitted a patch for this, and if so, whether it was accepted, or if not, why it was rejected.
But we're working on a way to make our changes available to the public, so we don't have to depend on whether or not our changes are accepted to go into the official e2 repository.

In PLi's-Enigma 2 the right side of that picture (containing the channel number and name/event name/progressbar) is available for skins in the screen "ChannelSelection"with the command "list" (as defined in ChannelSelection.py).

Detail: on the VU+ DUO it still works fine (as you can see in my recent screenshot), but I can't turn it off (no problem there: I don't want to turn it off).
You might try the same skin as I used for the screenshot (Magic-(E)HD to see if it works on your box as well.

afaik, this setting is to show/hide standard E2 progress bar (white, left), pli progress bar (yellow, right) is always shown(at least for me)...Menu > Setup > System > Customize > Show event progress in channel selection [Yes/No] ..........it seems broken.
see the screenshot:

As you see in my screenshot above, I only had "our" progress-bar (as usual); after turning it on in yhe menu I now also have two, and I can't switch it off any more.afaik, this setting is to show/hide standard E2 progress bar (white, left), pli progress bar (yellow, right) is always shown(at least for me)...see the screenshot:Menu > Setup > System > Customize > Show event progress in channel selection [Yes/No] ..........it seems broken.
I hope it will be "ours": the yellow one on the right side is far much better.....ok, so after the recent dmm experimental merge we have two progressbars. Then I guess we need to decide what to do, and get rid of one of them (either ours, or theirs)

It's even worse: after switching it on and off several times to no avail, my box "hangs"....... and I can't switch it off any more.....
I still can log in, but there is no respond to init4/init3/reboot/RC or whatever. So I had to pull the plug.

Sorry for my Dutch......Ja, en bij nader inzien is er ook qua lay-out wel wat voor te zeggen: bij de "onze" loopt een lange tekst soms door de bars heen.
Translation: I think the DMM-lay-out is even better, as "our" bars are sometimes overlapped by a long event description.
1- as mentioned: it causes my box to become unresponsive;I can switch off dmm bars with no problem, you have to restart enigma to apply changed setting...As you see in my screenshot above, I only had "our" progress-bar (as usual); after turning it on in yhe menu I now also have two, and I can't switch it off any more
2- if an Enigma restart is required that should be mentioned in the menu.

completely disagree, placing progress bar right side (PLi) is much more logical (in my opinion) than insert it between channel number and chanel name...Translation: I think the DMM-lay-out is even better, as "our" bars are sometimes overlapped by a long event description.
besides with dmm layout you'll have long event descriptions cut-off I suppose...
haven't noticed it at all here...1- as mentioned: it causes my box to become unresponsive;
maybe it should ...2- if an Enigma restart is required that should be mentioned in the menu.
