Openpli is my favorite image and no one else its close. Only Dream elite I like but openpli is the best, and also the support on this forum is awesome.
But please, make a official image for Dreambox 900/920 and dream1/2. Just so it �

Sorry, we won't.
We never make images without vendor coorperation, Dream Multimedia always refused, and now they don't exist anymore, it is unlikely to change.
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

I would…. A crashed server which resulted in the loss of the OpenPli versions for the DM series. They had to be restored by asking OpenPli members to submit a version if they hadone…..
Met één been in het graf..... Helaas

That happened years ago.
In the meantime we have moved on, our infrastructure is no longer a single home-build tower PC in someones attic but a stack of Supermicro's in a datacentre, fully managed, with all data on RAID storage, and including daily backups, both on- and offsite.
Chances on a repeat of that incident are rather small...

Well everyone can use what they like... But dm7020 is totaly outdated...

Can't imagine that you find one new as well. Stood on a pallet in a warehouse somewhere, for 15 years (it was made in 2010)?

Yes but loved Dreambox old design. And it had ciplus module support.

Dm920 is also similar in design. Has 2 CI slots. And is much more modern.

Well that is a decision from OpenPLi team. As is mentioned above you can use OpenViX where official images are offered for DM900/920.
They work fine on my DM920 without any slowdowns or problems.

I have tried both Vix and Atv, Vix works well Atv worked worse, can't remember now what it was
Having a hard time letting go of Pli old habit I guess.

Well yes habbits....
But can get used to if you try it for longer...
ViX is not much different than PLi visually...Just the menus are slightly at different place.
