Hi Guys,

I hope I am posting in the correct forum area and obeying the correct rules for posting. Hoping someone maybe able to help me. I have been using a zgemma h.2h for some time now. The latest image i used was open pli 9.1. This has been working very well for me. I connected box to to a network today and tried an update and I the box is now caught in a restart loop where it encounters a green screen and restarts.

I have tried reinstalling firmware open pli 9.1 but this does not help the issue. I wonder is there anyone that could help. I know the box is very old and there are issues but it is working great and would hate to give up now.

Thanking you in advance,

Regards

Steve (Ireland)

Is this a 9.1-release that was auto-updated from 9.0-release?

Is so, there was an upgrade issue on boxes that had picons installed on USB or HDD.

If you want to avoid flashing, you can try fixing it on the commandline:

init 4
opkg update
opkg install enigma-info --force-reinstall
reboot

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.
