I´ve just set up a ReadyNasDuo on our LAN (router, switch, DM7020 and two stationaire PC:s and a laptop). The wizard setup that came with the NAS was simple and worked well.
I´ve mounted the NAS as I mount a hdd on one of the PC:s.
You can set the NAS as default record unit so all your recordings can be found on the NAS.
Problems with bad recordings are related to how you set up yor LAN - not with DM or NAS.

So don´t hesitate if you thoght of getting a NAS - it works great with our DM7020.
So i think it´ll work with any DM.

Thanks for the information, this is highly appreciated for people who (as me) think about getting a NAS HDD. Just a doubt... are you accessing it through Wifi? If so, is it B/G/N?

My 7020 is connected through Ethernet Bridge to my Wifi LAN, that is because I've asked this.

Hallo Cristofer!
Here is the way I put up our LAN. I consulted a friend who is a pro. It´s important to have separate modem, router, switch and WiFi-access-point.
You have to pay more of course - but you get what you pay don´t you.
