Movieplayer adn VLC 1.0

I installaed VLC 1.0 but movieplayer doesn't run. I see movie list on my PC but when I select a movie it can't be loaded. The buffering level remain at o%.
I must roll back VLC or I need some oyhrt setting ?

For VLC 1.0 you need a config file to let movieplayer working. I think using 0.8.6 is much easier (and more stable, I've heard).

I upgraded to VLC 1.0 because I have sync problem with Vista and VLC 0.86.
I thought to bypass these problems upgrading VLC.
Maybe the problem is Vista?

So, for VLC 1.0 you need to add the IP of the Dreambox to the .hosts file.
