As my switch isn't the highest quality switch you can buy and because I have a long coax cable from my DM800 to my switch I have to change the switch voltage via a command:
echo 11 > /proc/stb/frontend/0/tone_amplitude.
And if I don't I have a lot of tune failed errors. When I enter "echo 11 > /proc/stb/frontend/0/tone_amplitude" Problems are solved. I have put this command in a file and made sure that this command is executed every time a boot my DM800 (see attachment). It would be nice if this setting can be set in this image so I don't have to install it manualy with every new image it is only 1 minute but still would be nice and and perhaps other people need this feature too.

If I am well informed by other forum's the de switch amplitude can be set from 1 to 12 (echo 1 ... / echo 12....) and 6 is default.

Hope to see this feature in the next image.

Thanks for the great images the PLI team made so far

Please note that if you have a proper DiSeqC switch, that you should
drive it using DiSeqC commands only. The dreamboxes enable a
compatibility mode by default where they send both DiSeqC commands and
13/18v and toneburst. Especially the toneburst may actually confuse the
switch (according to what I read).

So try this: set 13/18v to: 13v and toneburst to "off". And of course
setup DiSeqC correctly.

If that doesn't work, it is probably better to turn of DiSeqC completely
and only use voltage mode and tone burst instead. This only works if you
have up to two sat positions.
