Hello, all! I used to know how to do this, but it's been a REALLY long time since I've used my DM500-S. Just installed the pli-jade2-dm500-20090322-6302 image and am in the PAL mode (rolling screen). Been trying to reset to NTSC mode, but can't remember the procedure. I tried a search but couldn't find the answer (me big dumb-a**). Could someone please post the correct procedure to return to NTSC? Thank in advance for any help!/images/smiley/grin.gif

From the Wiki / dm500 setup / Define your VideoSettings

If you happen to be using a NTSC TV, most likely the screen will be rolling to the point that it is unreadable. Pressing the Channel Down button twice (to reach the TV System field), and the Volume Up button three times, should set the screen to the NTSC standard.

Or you could always use the webif remote as the web browser doesn't roll... ;)

Many thanks, hemispherical1...that did the trick! I used to know how to do all this stuff, but it's been a LONG time since I played w/ my DM500. Working on getting a private cardshare setup from a good bud of mine for DNet since the N3 swap. I really appreciate the help!!! /images/smiley/wink.gif
