can someone send me

MGcamd ver 1.35 & Scam ver 3.58 dm500s for pli image need?

mgcamd 1.35 and scam 3.58 attached
these are not tarballs, you have to install them manually, install any older version and replace binary file in /var/bin

as of scam - on which box you'd like to run it? on dm500, versions from 3.49 (?) do not work with PLi images unless you add 2 libs to /var/lib: libcrybto.so.0.9.7 &libssl.so.0.9.7 (1400kb in total);
scam+libs = about 1750 kb, so I don't know if the game is worth the candle on dm500

Hi Blzr,

I have installed mgcamd 1.31 via PLi blue button, then try to replace the scamd file in the var/bin folder with the file scamd.ppc but it does not copy.
am I doing something wrong?
Please help.

First be sure no softcam is running. Just select None in softcam setup.

I have a DM7020 and I try and try again. But it will not run.
Which folders I have to use?

@mago becauz this file is for dm 500s model


and dm500s users

first install mgcamd1.31 from downloads
then unzip that file then open dreambox var then bin and paste that file overwrite message comes click on yes . restart dreambox and run mgcamd and check

s1,s2,s3,s4,s5,s6,s7 channels r working open on this

hello to all ...want to install latest mgcamd 1.35 i do tar.gz file in /tmp then reboot dm but the mgcamd dosent show on the screen!!
why? must be doing something wrong please help....
i searched all dreambox files by ftp.... and cant find mgcamd...the var space has gone from 40% to 60!...and cant see mgcamd installed!!
please help!! how can i install if i cant see were it is?

Does anyone now what is the latest image for DM500c connecting to UK cable.and any instructions about anything else i need to do to get this going fully not just FTA.
