Hello,

Dreambox DM500s

I am running PLi Jade and when in telnet and checking the disk usage,

root@dm500 ~ # df -h
Filesystem Size Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/root 4.8M 4.8M 0 100% /
/dev/mtdblock/1 1.8M 1.6M 148.0k 92% /var
//192.168.1.33/share 298.1G 52.7G 245.4G 18% /media/hdd
/dev/mtdblock/1 1.8M 1.6M 148.0k 92% /var_flash

I'm sure this 100% usage is going to start causing problems?

I'm not sure what is using it as I have not tried placing files anywhere.

Thanks :)

On a CDK box, the root filesystem is read-only, and always 100% used. You should watch your /var space, which is the read-write part of the image, and is currently 92% used. This is waiting for a disaster to happen...

Some actions you can take:
- remove downloaded items you don't need
- move parts of your /var to a mount
- use our maxvar image instead of the normal image. It has less build-in items, but you get 1Mb extra /var space in return.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Hey, the WAF of this kind of disasters is extremely low... /images/smiley/more_shocked/5.gif
