Well, I like OpenPli, I have it on my Clarke-Tech ET9000 HD. It is just fine and I enjoy this image.
But with my Vu+ Duo, there are freezes, unexpected reboots, slow navigation in the menu, slow zapping sometimes and I always have some errors in the plugin menu, even after a fresh new install. And I do not have such things with the POD image (for example).

There may be something wrong with your box or set up. For example, my VU+duo never crashes. Well, maybe once in a few months

If you have more information about the freezes, reboots etcetera and if you want we may help you, just create a new thread for that. Of course you are free to use any image you want.

I agree with daf2000 - my vuduo is my main entertainment system and server for card, movie, recording space and MP3 library.
It is used every day and never ever reboots unless I reboot it.. Prolly the most stable box I have ...

Yep... I do not know what's wrong with OpenPli on my Vu+Duo...

I first thought it was because I have a "complex" set up (Wavefrontier T90 antenna / 22 LNBs / 2x 16-1 DiSEqC 1.1 switches & 1x 2-1 DiSEqC 1.0 switch / 2x cards using Hypercam).
But it started to bug even before I installed my set up as I have errors with the default plugins (missing components).

I've just plugged my AMBX light system to my VU+DUO2 today and it doesn't work as expected with the AMBX plugin.
The system is detected and the light are responding in the plugin configuration menu when choosing the "Color" mode. But the "Video" mode, wich is the most interesting one is not working at all. The "Grabber FPS" value is changing in real time so it seems to check the video well but the lights are not changing...

 

 

 

Anyone has an idea ?

 

I've also tried the "Atmolightd" plugin but I do not know how to configure it (I do not know how to find which device number "tty" is my AMBX device).

The Boblight plugin does not work with AMBX as there is no config for AMBX.

 

And the Atmolight plugin does not recognize my AMBX system...

The AMBX plugin does though, but there is no sync of the lights with the video.
