Hi.

Is it possible to renamn the PLi-image to "root.cramfs" and store it in /tmp. And then in the software update menu do a manually flash?

Is it a safe method?

If it is possible, is there anything else to think about? Deleting any files after flash is done or is the "root.cramfs"-file automaticly deleted?

I am asking because I would like to have alternative flashing methods if others go wrong or does not work at all.

Impossible, that is a flash method for the old cdk boxes only.

The perferred way of flashing is using the web interface. With dreamup as a backup.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.
