I have encountered a problem with the Rytec epg on my 500s since Saturday.
It was working perfectly before that .
I stored the epg on a mount on my pc and only stored 1 days epg at a time for ukxmltv.
It updated once a day perfectly until Sun when I noticed the epg was incomplete for most channels,blank for lots more and it was off by 1 hour as well.
It only had about 15% of the info it normally had.
I tried deleting the epg.db file and reinstalling the plugin but it still gave the same response.
When I type/var/bin/e1_UK.sh ,it connects to the Rytec server and starts to build the epg on the mount but it stops after about 2 mins and the resulting database is only around 1Mb instead of the 3Mb it normally is and its useless.
The Radiotimes epg loads correctly and builds a correct database but the Rytec one is faulty.
I have enclose a screenshot of what I am seeing when I run e1_UK.sh ,hopefully it may help deduce the error

We have had a couple of problems with the hour change.

However this should not affect the import on itself.

I checked my DM600PVR and the epg looks very complete.

I have had alot of problems getting the Rytec epg to run on the 500s.
When I installed the plugin off the Pli server it installed correctly but the files had the wrong attributes so it wouldnt work properly.
I eventually figured it out ,ftp'd the files manually ,changed the attributes (e1_UK.sh to 755 and e1_uk.cfg to 644 and e1_UK.dat to 644 )and it worked fine.
I removed the files for the epg's I didnt use ,I left only the ukxmltv files ,e1_UK.sh,e1_UK.cfg and e1_UK.dat.
It worked for 3 weeks but went bad at the weekend.
As I said the Radiotimes epg works fine but the ukxmltv one ii faulty,I'm kinda stumped at this stage as its driving me nuts.

The only thing i can do is give you my set of files:

When you copy the files to yuor box don't forget to set the rigths to 755.

My e1_UK.sh file and yours are the same.
I notice a line in that file that may be the issue
It says "epg=/var/lib/sqlite/epg.db"
However when I look at the file structure on my 500s the var/lib folder is empty .
Should there be something in there ?

The e1_UK.dat files are the same so that seems ok.

The only difference in the e1_Uk.cfg files is I have epgLocation=/media/hdd/sqlite/epg.db whereas you have epgLocation=/var/lib/sqlite/epg.db
It must be something small.

The epg location in the script is a default value, it gets overwritten when the config file is loaded.

/var/lib/sqlite is the default location in the config, it should point to the location where you have decided to write the sqlite database to.

So that would be the mount on my pc I'm guessing ?
It seems to work with it left as the default anyway,it builds the epg.db file on the pc.
I ran it last night and the epg updated fine for 15 channels but the rest were blank or incomplete.
I'm stumped at this stage ,I even tried remapping channels,made no difference.
I might try the open Pli image to see if that makes any difference.
In the meantime I'll just have to use the Radio Times epg.
