Hello

I was hoping somebody would know more about the streaming from a Dreambox DM500.

I use VLC player to connect to my Dreambox on port 31344 and then I can stream from the Dreambox to my PC, Laptop etc.

I was wondering if anybody knew what method is used for this stream and if the
WD TV Live
HD Media Player
supports this.

It is a mpeg2 ts stream over http (tcp is also possible). No idea if the wd tv live supports this.

Thanks for the reply, based on the specifications from WD web site,

"Video -- WMV9, AVI (MPEG1/2/4, Xvid, AVC), H.264, MKV (h.264, x.264, AVC, MPEG1/2/4, VC-1), MOV (MPEG4, H.264), MT2S, TP, TS, MOV/MP4 (MPEG4, h.264), DVR-MS, VOB (unprotected or unencrypted)"

As per what you've said, it appears as if what it will be supported?
