A question - is OpenPLi OE1.5 or OE1.6 after the latest kernel upgrade ?

I'm not really sure what the differences are - although I have seen that OE1.6 is supposed to be a kernel upgrade that means shorter boot times etc...

Thanks.

Oh, and if you want to, compare boottimes between 1.5, 1.6 and openpli, and you might be surprised ;)

Hehe - ok :)
I am very pleased with OpenPLi - so have no reason to change - I was simply curious as a few people have mentioned the new OE1.6... Keep up the good work guys :)

Hello All,

Not that it is of great importance but only to inform.
With Gemini 5.0 (OE1.6) boot time for a DM500HD is 1min and 1s
For OpenPLi (2.5.2010) the boot time with the same box is 50s :)

So with OpenPLi you will win 11s every time you do a "cold" boot :)

Congratulations to the PLi team :)
