I'm running the latst OpenPLI on my DM600 along with Jade3 on my DM500.

I've noticed a peculiar change in behaviour in Web-X when using the latest version of Firefox 3.6.3 with VLC 1.05...the interface will launch BUT I get no video whatsoever. The mozilla plugin and the active-x plugins were both installed at the time when vlc was installed and everything was working fine until I recently started updating firefox. I'm not sure what version of firefox broke the plugin but this behaviour is experienced on 2 separate PC's running windows 7 and vista.

Internet explorer with active-x works fine so I'm assuming something changed with firefox. I can still make it work by launching the vpid in VLC and changing channels in the web interface but it would be nice if the web-x interface worked in firefox. I've also done the complete uninstall of VLC and rebooted trying different versions and no change in behaviour.

Wondering if anyone has experienced this and if there's a fix without using IE(yuk :) or launching the vpid in vlc when using firefox. Thank You

So it doesn't work on both the dm600 with openpli and the dm500 with jade3?

If it doesn't work anymore with Jade3. There must be some changes in firefox. Do you get any related javascript errors in the firefox error console (tools->error console or ctrl-shift-j)?

Just to follow up on this issue. I came back to the problem next day and started breaking down the issue in the simplest form.
I backed up all my firefox settings on both PC's using mozbackup. I uninstalled Firefox on Vista and rebooted. Reinstalled a clean copy of the latest Firefox and restored my settings using mozbackup. Connected via Web-X and everything ok now. Did the same to the windows 7 pc and again that worked with web-x fine.

I honestly dn't know what the real issue was but it appears that resinatalling a clean copy of firefox fixed the problem on both pc's. Thank You.
