Hi all,

I am using, with much satisfaction, the XMLTV plug-in. I am missing EPG information on a few channels though (maybe my setting is wrong?). One of the channels I don't get EPG downloaded for is TV5Monde Europe. I have, in the sources tab, the following selected:

NL/BE
UK
DE/AT/CH
UPC Direct
SkyLink


I also tried selecting CanalSat from the list, but this did not make a difference for TV5Monde Europe. Does one of you know if there is EPG data available for this channel and what I need to select to have it shown? Do you need transponder information or so (to let you know to which TV5Monde Europe I am watching)?

I looked around and the TV5Monde programs I can find at the moment is:

Let me know if this is the rigth programme info.

Also - could you provide us with the channel ref. Something in the trend of this:

1:0:1:1c99:332c:13e:820000:0:0:0:

Thank you for your reply. The informatin on the first website you provided is for TV5 FBS (slightly different from TV5Monde Europe). I don't know if you can use this, but here is the website with information of TV5Monde Europe: http://www.tv5.org/c...lg3-Grille.htm?

I am a bit new in this, could you please tell me how to know the channel ref?

I found the Service Reference (Menu, Information, Stream Information), hope that is what you need:

1:0:1:1B03:3FE:1:C00000:0:0:0:

This is indeed the reference I need.

The webpage you provided looks useable, but requires a bit of work to read.

(Also the other channels you listed need work to collect the epg - it is not straigthforward.)

But pls. remember that we have to update the channels file (and actually Rytec is dutch - so be patient - football)

Snif snif. Back on earth again

I have added these channel id's for Euronews and TV5 Monde Europe to the rytec.channels.xml and normaly they will be available in the BE/NL package from tomorrow.
Later on they will also be available for the CSAT package.

On enigma2 you do not have to do anything. The channels.xml file is downloaded automatically from our server.

On enigma1, you have to link the extra channels manually

The EPG for EuroNews is available now, but for TV5 still not. I checked in the rytec.channels.xml and there is no reference to this channel (yet). Something wrong on my side?

where did you get this rytec.channels.xml file from? your dreambox? www.rytec.be or else?

I checked both the file on my Dreambox itself (in case it is downloaded automatically) and the one available on www.rytec.be. I searched in the file for the channel reference of TV5 but that couldn't be found.

I checked again the file on www.rytec.be and 1:0:1:1B03:3FE:1:C00000:0:0:0: is not present in it.

OK, I can add this one but is it TV5 or TV5 Monde ?

It is TV5Monde Europe.
