If I go to menu>plugins>Download plugins--- [highlight=#9bbb59]I get a screen reading _ No New Plugins Found[/highlight]

You'll need to install a feed server (simple HTTP server), and adjust the feed location in /etc/opkg.conf or so.

Or just include all you want directly into the image by adding it to IMAGE_INSTALL

Would you please advise the name for a working feed server for open pli image feeds/cams.

You need to create your own, e.g. by installing apache on your (build) system. There is no 2.0 feed.

Trying to compile openpli2.0 image, using Milo's makefile, I get the following error

if I remember correctly, this is what uncle google has said to me when I've found this error while compiling:

This error happen when you don't have glib2.0-dev in your system.To Ubuntu execute:

sudo apt-get install libglib2.0-dev

That was the point. I installed libglib2.0-dev and the process goes on till the next error as following :
