Hi

Rytec doesn't work on VTi "Vu+ Team Image" - V 2.1 - 02.10.2010 OE 1.6....it's downloads a lot of events, but they don't show in the epg. The problem seems to be into a data called epg.new.dat.
I need an easy fix because I'm a beginner. It seems there are a lot of people having this problem.

By the way, I'm running the image on a Vu+ Duo. I really need some help!

Your using Vti image and on vuplus support forum is also the answer for this.

This is caused bij Vti who forgot to insert these line in enigma2.sh (usr/bin)

python /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/xmltvimport/boot.py


Then all will work well after a full reboot.

You 're doing some stuff wrong...here it works fine without crashing.

So what did you do and how?

You have to use proper editor when changing lines in enigma2.sh

For example editor in DCC is fine. Do not use an normal text editor.

I'm running on OS X and using textedit which comes with the system....I'm talking with RealMagic911 on "www.vuplus-support.com"...looks like I did everything correctly...He told me also about the text editor...I tried under VMware Fusion with Notepad++...didn't do the job.
Can someone send me the correct file so I can install it

Problem solved.
IDream X corrupted the file during ftp....so that why I tried and tried again. I used finally another ftp program and it worked (cyberduck). I'm using Os X 10.6...weird!
