I think the dm500HD image will work on the new DM800, but I guess it will not support the main new feature of this dreambox.
Is the Pli team planning a release of a DM800SE image?

DM600, DM800HD, DM7025, DM500S HD. DM800HDse, 90cm multi-bracket dish: 13E, 19.2E, 23.5E, 28.2E.
Runnign OpenPli where I can and loving it!

the 500hd image will definitely not work on the 800se.
But as you can see in the commitlogs, we're working on dm800se support.

I have just downloaded the beta image for the DM800HDse, and I also tried to build the image for the "dm800hdse", but the build failed. Is it included in the OpenPli builds yet?
