Hi

I change my DM600 in to DM800HD. In my old soft (PLi Jade 2) I used zapstream and connect via VLC on port 31344. In OpenPLi I can not connect via VLC on 31344 port.

Dose OpenPLi have zapstream ?

Enigma2 images don't have zapstream. Only enigma1 images do.
Enigma2 is used on the HD or dualtuner boxes.

What a pity :(
So, the only way to stream from DM800HD is Web interface and then VLC.

If you know the url, you don't have to use the webinterface. There is also the PLi StreamInterface plugin which shows a list of channels with their url from which you can stream.

Hi
I am a newbie dreambox user, and i wouldt like to know if you can get the current channels stream to play in VLC.
I already installed the PLi StreamInterface plugin and i can watch (not switch) channels by accassing my dm800 http://192.168.0.xx:40080.
But on the net i see people talking about putting in http://192.168.0.xx/stream.m3u so you can stream the current channel (also tried http://192.168.0.xx:40080/stream.m3u) with no luck.
If the channel changes will VLC automaticly change too?
Is this even possible?
Running openPLi 1.0.
Thanx in advance

Hi
You have to remembet that the stream.m3u i much more compound than it looks. For example for channel with SID 12C7 it looks like
http://192.168.0.xx/....m3u?ref=1:0:1:12C7%3A2E7C%3A13E%3A820000%3A0%3A0%3A0%3A.
for another channel this link will be defferent becouse of different value SID.

Only old zapstream allows to change channels without closing VLC.

Ok thanx for the quik reply this clarifies it a lot more for me, i assumed that you couldt "tap in" to the current stream by just adding stream.m3u to the end of URL.
No problem though i can do what i want to do and that is streaming over web just waiting to be connected to my new fiber 35/35mbit account.
Stream HD channels is what i want.
Thanx again for the info /images/smiley/wink.gif .
