Hi,

I live in Australia and we got 3 Polish channels here. I tried to grab EPG but it never gives me any info.
I suposse the channels are not setup in the grabber.

The channels I'm after are:

iTVN - http://e.itvn.pl/epg/currentChannel
TV Polonia (TVP Polonia) - http://www.tvp.pl/pr...h2=1729&ch3=420
Polsat 2 - http://www.polsat2.c...4020/index.html

It would be really great for polish community in Australia to have it availible.
I'm new with PLI and all the EPG stuff, but I will help as much as I can to get it running for us ( I'm not that dumb) :)

Thanks.

I have added the three channels to our polish channels list. If you select the polish source from the rytec list the schedules will import.

One word of remark: for iTVN I had to download the schedule from a german source. The program titles are still in Polish, but the descriptons are in German. However these descriptions are not very meaningfull.

Hi Willy,
thank you very much for the work you have done for us here :)

I do not have my VuDuo box at the moment but will have it back in 2-3 weeks. I called my friend who has that same box and he selected Polish source in the Rytec List. Then he hit download and it indicated download and finish. However, the EPG did not populate in the EPG. Is there anything more what should be done?

I can add that he is also using the CrossEPG OpenTV sat. scanner for the local programs, but that should not interfere with Rytec grabber?

Thanks again,
Michal

Hi Willy,
I've just read the WIKI and maybe we did not follow all the steps properly. It is very late now here so I will call my friend tommorow and we will try again exactly how the WIKI guides. I will report back then.

Thanks,
Michal

To mbo,

You should try tomorow. Today everything is added, but the files on the net are not yet up-to-date. This happens only overnight (over here).

Hi Rytec,
is this xml file located on the Box and replaced automatically while scanning ? I'm not really familiar how the Plugin works.
Thanks,
Michal

You only have to select the Polish package. The rytec.channels.xml file is downloaded automatically by your box.

Hi Willy,
we managed to download the data and all was ok. for all 3 channels :)
However, after we reboot enigma, for whatever reason the Polsat 2 had a program for Polsat1. Very strange. Anyway, we restored the PLI from usb backup to the point before we started tests with EPG scan. We followed steps again and we can't get Polsat2 properly anymore, all the time the program for Polsat1 is loaded. Why the firstly properly scanned Polsat2 started to display Polsat1 program is a mystery to me.

Also there is some confusion. We have CrossEPG plugin loaded on this box. In the CrossEPG setup there is option for XMLTV import and Rytec Polish source can be selected there. After it did not work we went to Plugins-Download-Extentions and we find Rytec xmltv-importer as well as xmltv-importer. When we tried Rytec version we and could not find EPGImport under plugins. So we downloaded xmltv-importer. Now we had EPGImport availible and after setup all went perfect.

It is just after Enigma Restart something went wrong with just Polsat2 and we couldn't get it right since. I suppose there is some data on HDD which prevents proper usage of EPG even after image restore and following the steps as above.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Michal

You listed :

TV Polonia
iTVN
Polsat

For this polsat I assumed that it was Polsat 1 and attached this schedule. I you now say that this polsat in your settinglist is Polsat 2 then we should attach the Polsat 2 schedule to it.

Pls. advise

Willy

PS: for the XMLTV importer you have to install both. The XMLTV is the actual importer and the XMLTV-rytec are the sources.

I just used the settinglist you provided. Did not look anymore to your first post. Sorry.

Will correct this (it is just a matter of assigning a new name). You can try in one hour. (Due to the time it takes to update the mirrorsites)

Pls. restart enigma before trying again, as you have to reload the channels file which is normally only downloaded once day.

Ahhh, my appology, indeed the name Polsat was in attached setting file. Sorry for creating a confusion.
I will try tommorow with my friend, it is late now here, I do a night shift at work that's why I'm still awake.
I will report tommorow how it went :)
Thank you very much,
Michal

Dear Willy and Rytec,
it seems to be a problem with all above 3 channels, the EPG is empty now. The scanning seems to be working scanning more than 600 entries but the data is not visible in EPG. It is happening on 3 independant boxes, 2 PLI 1 and one PLI 2. Any toughts on that?
Thank you,
Michal
