I still have this problem...

What do I have to do to fix this?

Where/how do I delete the data file?

Delete the epg.dat file on your hdd.
And do a manual epg import on the box.

Meega

Didn´t work the first time...

had to do it a couple of times and 2 reboot before it worked...

But it´s working now, so my girl is happy again hehe

Thanks!

Before deleting the epg.dat Enigma should always be dead ("init 4"): did you do that?

Not really /images/smiley/grin.gif

How do you do that?
Just reboot enigma and in the maintime delete the file?

Telnet: "init 4" (to close down Enigma)
delete epg.dat (via telnet, ftp or windows explorer)
Telnet: "init 3" (to start Enigma again).

Background: EPG-data is always in memory when Enigma is alive. Only on shut down the data is written to the disk (--> epg.dat is created on shutdown). On bootup the data is read from the disk again.

So: when deleting epg.dat when E2 is alive, nothing changes!

OK, is added.

Is this a new location or a second location, what has happened with the other location?
