When I install XMLTVImport and enable Rytec Benelux XMLTV and Rytec UK XMLTV, then I guess the EPG is downloaded for more stations than what I have in my bouquest.
What happens to that info ?
Is that purged after a certain time ?

If you think nobody cares, try missing a couple of payments.

The importer attaches the epg of all the channels that are referenced, and it can find on your system. The data stays in your box until it expires, after which it is purged.

If you want to download only the epg for the channels which are in your bouquets you can do so by creating your own channels list. You can use as a starting point our channels list which can be found on www.rytec.be. Unzip it.

In this channel list delete all the channels which you do not want. Place the resulting file in etc/epgimport and edit the rytec.sources.xml file (found in the same location) in the folowing way (example give only for the benelux source).

<source type="gen_xmltv" channels="rytec.channels.xml">
<description>Rytec Benelux XMLTV</description>
<url>http://www.xmltvepg....tvbenl.gz</url>
</source>

We generally find this not worth the bother.
