this is not the complete log, the important is the top of the log, there we can see if it really has downloaded the data file.

can you do a complete reboot of your box, then start a manual import, press info button then save it with blue button and then send me the epgimport.log from /tmp directory

By the way, who hosts the CrossEPG XEPGDB sources from 'krkadoni.com'?
Also, are they derived from Rytec sources? ie if Rytec is down will the XEPGDB sources be empty?

Thank you,

first you have to go to the epgimport menu via applications, there you do a manual import, or at least try it.
after that you pres the info button and press blue button, then the file should be saved in /tmp

One channel file failed, but it took the next one:

[EPGImport] unlink /media/hdd/epgimport.gz
[EPGImport] Parsing channels from 'http://www.xmltvepg....channels.xml.gz'

It did parse the channels from this

But did you select any sources? because it does not try to import anything

In the epgimport window - blue button:sources

select the desired source with the up and down arrow. Press on OK. A big Cross will appear before this source.

Now try importing again.

Try this source:

place in etc/epgimport/ and rename the existing rytec.sources.xml to rytec.sources.xml.bak

Awesome!! Thanks for the quick fix and great support. Events are coming in!!

In the meantime my internetprovider has already given me a new ip address and the sites that were not working are working again.

Also awesome service of UPC..Fixed within the hour. I must now convert back to original rytec sources file?

It seems I have the same problem as destroyer2usa, i also have UPC as provider.
I got a new IP since a few days (completely new IP range) and since then I also cannot connect to the links supplied in the source file.

I already rang UPC but they had to investigate, i don't think they will fix this....

They fixed it with me in a hour but....now I get a new ip adress every hour or so and then I have to manually reboot my router to obtain a new ip adress so things are not going smoothly yet. I have now again a new Ip adress since 30 minutes but i've listed now the mac adress of my router in the dhcp settings..hopefully I'll keep this ip adress now...my d-link has worked great all those years untill now.

For the moment you can also replace that file listed above...that worked great with my blocked ip adress I had before. At least that one didn't change every hour or so...
