HEAD~ dumps the HEAD commit.
So if you did not commit your own stuff, you don't get it with git format-patch
(git diff will show uncommitted stuff though)

when i type git status i get this

On branch master

so how i can commit it to be in the HEAD

there's lots of git manuals around, each one of them will tell you how to commit

I made my changes and everything went fine but when i tested the image there was a problem when i want to install a plugin i get /bin/sh: ipkg: not found i dont know why.

Use opkg rather than ipkg, same syntax...


opkg install /tmp/some.ipk

thanks it worked, strange before a while i posted a thread about having problem and i had to replace from opkg to ipkg now from ipkg to opkg.

PLi uses opkg, perhaps before you created a symlink named ipkg pointing to the existing opkg, then you could use the ipkg command... I find it simpler to just use the correct command...

I'm sorry for stupid questions, read messages above but it still not clear for me how to execute quite simple task:
I would like to play with enigma2 sources and look results on my vuduo.
I have achieving default assembling of Makefile-2.1 under ubuntu 11.10
I have cloned git://openpli.git.sourceforge.net/gitroot/openpli/enigma2

But how I can switch bulding to use local enigma2 git?

I also would like to know how to use local git to make my enigma, is it possible?
