Yes, I can confirm that Scam isn't working in openPLi beta 2.0 of 16 Jan 2011. I was using scam successfully with beta 1.0 until yesterday when I decided to give beta 2.0 a try. I am using Irdeto 1 internal emu. I could not get scam 3.53, 3.59 nor 3.60 to work. I tried Evocamd, Mgcamd and CCcam as alternatives. Evocamd was no go; Mgcamd successfully read static keys (after adding in the appropriate sym link mentioned elsewhere) but would not update these keys; CCcam2.09 and later didn't update keys. CCcam1.71 is working correctly emulating Irdeto1 and updating CWs...

I'm not sure how to fix the other cams problems but in my case CCcam1.7.1 is the current answer. I'll stay with beta 2.0 so long as this continues to work.

cheers

yep, your memory does not fail you (yet ;))

so, @ricki
check if this helps:
ln -s /usr/lib/libssl.so.0.9.8 /usr/lib/libssl.so.0.9.7

Sorry my misstake
ln -s /usr/lib/libssl.so.0.9.8 /usr/lib/libssl.so.0.9.7

ln: /usr/lib/libssl.so.0.9.7: File exists

scam is not running

it means you've already successfully created a symlink (you need to execute this command only once)...

scam is not running

and what's the scam -d 255 output now?
