I have full epg again - I suppose the software update was necessary to import the new channelfile ?
anyhow, it's working again here

I tried 'opkg list-upgradable' but there is no rytec package listed that can be updaded

This morning the daily update ran automaticly again around 7.00, the update was succesfull but still no EPG for ITV 2/3/4 HD

Must I do something else?

Are you watching those channels on Astra 28.2 East? The EPGs and references are working for me.
I only run manual downloads so I don't know if you have an unrelated problem with your automatic import. Are you sure it was 'successful'?

This can only mean that something is missing in the channelsfile. I will investegate.

I think I found the error. The channels file on one of our mirrors is not updated.

if you want to import again, remove:

<url>http://www.world-of-...ls.xml.gz</url>

from the rytec.sources.xml file in /etc/epgimport.

restart the box and try again.

How do the mirrors get their data? For example, do they have an automatic method which tries to grab once a day from xmltvepg.be or rytec.be? If so, I suppose any failure at that time will result in the mirrors being compromised.

Another tip:

Update the rytec.sources.xml from rytec.be
(some mirrors are moved. and at least one old mirror still contain the old data)

I upload the data to the mirrors.
It has something to do with the movement of the ftp hosting directory from world-of-satellite
I will contact them to check it out
