Several days i cannot update anymore, in the log i getr entries such as:

Not only with sky but also on NL, BE, DE channels etc.
Normally I have almost 40000 events on an import now only 2142

What goes now wrong here and how to fix?

(I am just an end user like you)

Are you using the XML Import plugin or CrossEPG?
Are your problems still happening?

You probably know that Rytec have had ongoing but intermittent problems with their hosting.
I don't know if the planned multiple / backup urls are now correctly working ... ? I think they found it wasn't working correctly a week or so ago.

For CrossEPG, I don't think it is configured to use any backup urls. I don't know if the CrossEPG author is even aware of them. I will ask at their site.
I assume all of their sources are based on one set of Rytec sources, so if they go down it also affects CrossEPG.

And this includes UK.

So, the only thing I can advise is reboot your box and try again.
