Try again.
Second thing: If you have a usb device or CF card in use, check if these are not read-only mounted.
Third: Install OpenPli

In order to help you further we will need the import.log.
In the xmlt importer screen press Info and save the log.
The log can then be found in /tmp/
But do this before any restart. (a restart clears /tmp/)

1. Try installing the new version.
Also the latest version of the importer can be found here: http://www.pli-image...42&rowstart=140
2. Install also the latest sources.
3. If you cannot install these. Use one of the sources below.
or download them from:
http://www.xmltvepg....tec.sources.xml
http://www.world-of-...tec.sources.xml
http://www.xmltvepg....tec.sources.xml
http://www.tm800hd.c...tec.sources.xml

Hi all,
I have a TM800hd and a DM800hd, the DM800HD is running DE blackhole, neither of the boxes are downloading the EPG data anymore, its as if the server is not there....any help would be very much appriceated.
Thanks!!
The BH epg files are only available on the www.xmltvepg.be site and this site is down again.
I have asked the BH team several times to implement also the multiple download function so you would not have these problems but I get no answer there.
So maybe if more users of BH post there on the vuplus forum the complains maybe they will start something.
In the meanwhile I'm busy solving the issues together with my provider and I think it's working again now and you could install OpenPli or VIX instead of BH.
regards,
Ryan

Automatic import doesn't work but when I import manually, I end up with a 14MB .dat file and when it is loaded no epg appears.
The usual size has been 6-7MB but now, even though it is 14MB, there is no epg.
I have the latest epg plugin and sources files.

This should be automatically be handled by the latest plug-in and sources.
On Open Pli 2.0 a simple update of the xmltepg importer and rytec sources would cure the problems.

After a failed import, the channel file probably failed as well. And since this file is only loaded once a day (or after a restart) you have to force the import of the channel file as well by a e2 restart.

The XMLTV importer can use multiple sites (we have 6) such in case one is down. The importer detects corrupted files or down sites and switches automatically to another site.
So the remedy is install the newest version of the plug-in and the newest version of the rytec sources. Do not forget to restart the box, and reimport.
in the import log you get then something like this:
[EPGImport] nextImport, source= Rytec OSN/JSC Sport XMLTV
[EPGImport] Downloading: http://www.xmltvepg....ytecxmltvosn.gz to local path: /media/usb/epgimport.gz
[EPGImport] download failed: [Failure instance: Traceback (failure with no frames): <class 'twisted.web.error.InfiniteRedirection'>: 302 Infinite redirection detected
]
[EPGImport] Attempting alternative URL
[EPGImport] Downloading: http://enigma2.world...ytecxmltvosn.gz to local path: /media/usb/epgimport.gz
[EPGImport] afterDownload /media/usb/epgimport.gz
[EPGImport] Using twisted thread!
[EPGImport] unlink /media/usb/epgimport.gz
or this:
[EPGImport] Downloading: http://www.xmltvepg.be/rytecxmltvuk.gz to local path: /media/usb/epgimport.gz
[EPGImport] download failed: [Failure instance: Traceback (failure with no frames): <class 'twisted.web.error.InfiniteRedirection'>: 302 Infinite redirection detected
]
[EPGImport] Attempting alternative URL
[EPGImport] Downloading: http://www.xmltvepg.nl/rytecxmltvuk.gz to local path: /media/usb/epgimport.gz
[EPGImport] afterDownload /media/usb/epgimport.gz
[EPGImport] Using twisted thread!
So Update your Importer!!!!!!!!

When the import has finished, the plugin automatically restarts it.
But there was no epg on channels despite 14MB .dat file.
Now I imported just ex-yu epg from one source and there was again no epg despite "successful" import.
The log says something about channels missing even the channels I'm positive I had epg before.
Here is the log file.

Then I ran the manual import and it was successful and the epg appeared on the channels.
I remember downloading last rytec channels approximately at the same time as when these problems appeared.
Could it be that the previous rytec channels file was somehow corrupt which prevented the linking of epg data to channels?
New channels file from today seems to have solved the problem for me.

I see in your log:
[EPGImport] Downloading: http://www.world-of-...tecxmltvexyu.gz
which is one of the sites in the old sources file. The last one available form May 5, list the following:
<url>http://enigma2.world...tvexyu.gz</url>
Further form the log I can see that you are using the VIX version of the plugin, Which has a sligthly different way of accessing the different websites.
sourcelist file in /etc/epgimport should contain the following values:
http://enigma2.world...tec.sources.xml
http://www.xmltvepg....tec.sources.xml
http://www.xmltvepg....tec.sources.xml
http://www.tm800hd.c...tec.sources.xml
http://www.vuplus-co...tec.sources.xml
Which is really all that its needed because this version downloads also the sources.xml file from the websites listed. But you were unlucky that the file still contained an old mirror, which still containes old data, which it could download.
(We asked to remove the data, but no luck so far)
