Hi

After change of frequency in sky italia package,epg of new channels do not work.for example: cinema passion HD ,cinema comedy HD ,cinema classic HD ,cinema 24 HD and ...

actualy new xmltv file is needed.

I can try to locate the channels you mention, but there is no guaranty I end up with the same service reference. And without the correct service ref it is almost impossible.

f.i. I have 15 boomerang channels in my box. No mention of a italy one. So I have to check all 15 to find the correct one. You have the correct one, so find the service code pls.

The channels above have been added/corrected to the grab definition. The service references will be added to the channels file, but this can take a couple of days. (The power is not back yet on one of our computers)

Will be taken care off.

These are all changed channels. The correction is easy enough, but it is a pain in the behind to keep track off these, especially if you do not watch these channels. In order to keep these values up-to-date we count on users to alert us of changed channels, like cedar83 just has done.

I try to manually download the file from http://www.xmltvepg....tecxmltvnova.gz getting this from inside the script and I am getting this error message.
"The monthly allowed bandwidth for this website has been exceeded". That's why I cannot see any epg fro SkyITalia channels nd other providers.

Is there a solution for this?

That is why we have included in the XMLTV importer a solution which can download from different websites.
So update the XMLT importer to the latest version including the source file. (www.rytec.be).

On a Open PLi 2 system, just update.

On other systems you may have to use the --nodeps parameter. See:

I have an Openpli 1.0 image.
Can you please be more specific what I am supposed to do?
I have replace the rytec.sources.xml with tye file from www.rytec.be but nothing changes.
What I am doing wrong?

I just replaced in the rytec.sources.xml http://www.xmltvepg.be/ with http://enigma2.world...e.com/epg_data/ in both the channel name tag an the url and it works jut fine.
If I have more than one entry in the url does this work or it just take the first entry??

It tries to find a newer python library and it does not install the IPK file.
Where can I find the newer python library.

I did that and now it says that the Multiple packages providing same name marked HOLD or
PREFER. Using latest.
Most probably it find and the other ipkg package.

How can I remove the old one.

My friend I have deleted all the files and I did all the steps.

I do not understand this. The procedure I described is the one I used for my DM7025 with OpenPli 1, and it worked there.

The only other thing I can advise is upgrade to OpenPli 2. The latest XMLTV importer is available through the normal software download channels.
