Resolving dbus.freedesktop.org (dbus.freedesktop.org)... failed: Name or service not known.
wget: unable to resolve host address ‘dbus.freedesktop.org’

ERROR: dbus-native-1.10.14-r0 do_fetch: Fetcher failure for URL: 'http://dbus.freedesk...-1.10.14.tar.gz'. Unable to fetch URL from any source.

This is something we can't fix, appearently some recipe points to source that no longer exists, or there is a temporary issue with that server, or you have a local network issue.

I can download the tarball now, so I assume it was an intermittent error somewhere. Quite annoying, but these things happen from time to time.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

what can we do no more? if they do happen from time to time it is very sad, just as confusing as obstructing the development of others ... what could possibly be the manual loading of missing parts ... let me know if there is something else to be done

The internet isn't 100% reliable, nothing much you can do about it:

  • in most cases, it's intermediate, and a new build doesn't have the problem
  • in rare cases, it lasts a few hours (sourceforge is notorious for longer downtime), which means you have to wait
  • occasionally, the source is really gone, in which case a new location needs to be found. But we will have that problem too, so usually we will fix this issue

bitbake caches all source locally (DL_DIR), so if the proverbial shit really hits the fan, you can also use your cached source, and override the package SRC_URI in a conf file in ./build/conf.

I use the same mechanism to build from a local clone of enigma2 instead of from Github, so I can make local changes and test them before committing them to the repo.

I will wait for everything to be fine with websites for all Vu + 4k and others then let me know when sites will be fine. It would be nice if you had all the resources and parts to create an image for development on this Linux site ... openpli .... instead of github or all in one package, building blocks that already have all the open source parts of Linux web content for all linux receivers and in my opinion it is more compact to have a one-stop-shop on a Linux server of all components of linux software and all other receivers such as enigma2 ...

That is just moving the problem, what if our server is down? We can't beat github's uptime.

Not to mention the costs of hosting it, not so much in storage (our sources cache is about 46GB), but in bandwidth, if everyone would build from our servers?

I have one question about iptv codec on linux is gstreamer as code for color profile and boot image ultra hd avc codec images and so on -gstreamer is not a new version for a long time and is still 1.0 on and also on openpli and all vu + 4k. why no image works No picture Russians have successfully compiled a .ultra HD video codec so that the CPU (cpu) and computer did not freeze. I've heard it online before, but I don't understand if I heard it correctly and Iptv for testing from Russia is free, so it's for those who write codecs into receivers.

#EXTINF: -1, RU Eurosport4K UHD
http://dmitry-tv.ru/...T4K_HLSUHD.m3u8

#EXTINF: -1, Russian 4k Ultra HD Cinema Version 2
http://zabava-htlive....m3u8?version=2

#EXTINF: -1, Russian Extreme Ultra 4K UHD
http://dmitry-tv.ru/...TRA_HLSUHD.m3u8

i tried to put it in the iptv list on vultimo 4k without the image, but i should play it in vu + 4k openpli, the other image 4k on pc works without problems and the image does not freeze, the image on vuultimo4k is not because gstreamer is 1.0 versions (Git) the color profile corrupts the correct rendering of ultra hd images and everyone else can't display the avc codec right now - if I try one VOD movie, all the color purple images will be displayed. but you see the movie all purple. and if you go back through a regular channel that doesn't interfere with purple, it paints a normal image and is intended for viewing

be careful, the users here, iptv and don't look too much, it's a pity others won't be able to follow the picture from Russia anymore, as they managed to compile it into a codec as if they were looking at an ultra hd picture and it's really 2160p and you can see at 1080p resolution , 2160 resolution, but if viewed by many users, this image will stop too many users around the world at one time. which is not good technology, is still under development and is only intended to test ultra hd images for 4k TVs

hello WanWizard
https://github.com/H...-dm8000-oe-core
there were about 12 alerts regarding sourceforge packages
here I tested the builder for the DM8000HD
at 100% final progress there is only one error or only one error can be corrected, tell me how to fix it or there is only one missing package or there is a script error ?

i still have an old dreambox7020HD then i bought a new vuultimo4k ... as far as i remember i put nfi image from DM8000HD via barryallen (multiboot) and it started booting through the hard drive and it worked normally with 7020HD with 8000HD nfi image

You're building something else than OpenPLi, and then ask us for help?

gcc: error: unrecognized command line option ‘-fmacro-prefix-map=/home/bzork/openpli-dm8000-oe-core/build/tmp/work/mips32el-oe-linux/nfs-utils/2.4.1-r0=/usr/src/debug/nfs-utils/2.4.1-r0’

chances are your gcc version is not support by that repository.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

hello Wanwizard and respecte

is it possible to fix only one error with gcc because you say it does not support gcc version repository ... please if there might be one to compile openpli 7020HD. the core of the image

i still have dreambox 7020HD and then this year i bought vuultimo4k ... as far as i remember dreambox7020HD and i installed barryallen (multiboot) and then i installed the image from DM8000HD (NFI) and started Boot barryalen in dreambox 7020HD normal and just adjusted the difference is just slightly different.
