How can i do .I cannot  access the google server, i downloaded which mutagen-1.18.tar.gz from other site. thanks.

link does work now gues it was a temporary server problem.

What gcc version does it ship with?

According to https://wiki.ubuntu....us/ReleaseNotes is version 6

But is the bitbake not also building his own native compiler x86-64 or i386 ? depending on the host build machine ?

We already have trouble using gcc 5 (see the separate master branch), so...   The master-next might work though.

I did not tried yet , but i think that @Beeker keeps his ubuntu quit up to date prehaps he nows if it works.

you need to put tarball and also an empty text file 'mutagen-1.18.tar.gz.done' in your sources directory,

and restart the build...

Yes indeed. ncurses 5.9 fails to compile. So it needs to update to 6.0.
