It seems to be sourceforge self.

http://openpli.org/f...or-ubuntu-1110/

Gues we will try tommorow again, or it will need a sourceforge ticket. If it's not solved. Currently the login for read only seems only to go sometimes. Ou of 6 to 7 attempts it work only one time. Tha'ts also the reason it cannot parse I guess .

yup, nothing mystherious.. just sourceforge problems. it took me about 6-7 retries before it got over this showstopper. everything compiled successfully. thanks for the great guidelines and for your hard work!

not sure actually the (permanent) solution could be
(adding libgcrypt dependency to a .bb would be too easy /?/ ;))
but you can workaround this error with manually (clean) bitbaking libgcrypt and ntfs-3g
bitbake -b ntfs-3g_2012.1.15.bb -c clean
bitbake -b libgcrypt_1.4.1.bb -c clean
bitbake -b libgcrypt_1.4.1.bb
bitbake -b ntfs-3g_2012.1.15.bb
and now compiling should go past this error...

This workaround did not work for me.
All bitbake commands return "Unable to match" errors.

which bitbake version?
you can try with an absolute path to recipe, although with 1.12 -b option does not work properly iirc...
so try
bitbake ntfs-3g -cclean
...(etc)
should do the same
//but this waiting each time for all bb files to fetch, annoying a little ;)

It seems there is a problem in openpli git at sourceforge with e2openplugins recipe:
m--------- - e2openplugins history

which bitbake version?
you can try with an absolute path to recipe, although with 1.12 -b option does not work properly iirc...
so try
bitbake ntfs-3g -cclean
...(etc)
should do the same
//but this waiting each time for all bb files to fetch, annoying a little ;)

thanks yesterday after this command and make two every few hours I have completed the compilation

git ls-remote git://schwerkraft.elitedvb.net/enigma2-skins/enigma2-skins.git master failed with signal 128, output:
schwerkraft.elitedvb.net[0: 82.149.226.190]: errno=Connection timed out
fatal: unable to connect a socket (Connection timed out)

Anyone have the same? Is there any possibility to let Bitbake continue build with old sources in case newer are not available?

hey guys,

I'm newbie, and was trying to build the pli image myself through the steps that this forum suggested.
I installed ubuntu server 10.04 32bits on my virtualbox w/ the size of 512 RAM and 15GB HDD.
and installed packages what Chris and Ambrosa wrote in this forum and the document,

Successfully done till the building (make -f Makefile-2.1), and I got the error message while I'm doing building image.

The message was following :
| Installing libtclstub8.5.a to /home/jglee openpli/build-et9x00/tmp/work/i686-linux/tcl-native-8.5.8-r8/image/home/jglee/openpli/build-et9x00/tmp/sysroots/i686-linux/usr/lib/

I guess It's obviously related to tcl_8.5.8.bb installation process, but don't know what to do.
Any suggestions?

Cheers,

Do not now if Your ubuntu is fully installed all (needed dev files). 15 GB HD is far from enough in order to compile this image. Only the work directory's are more then 20 GB during build process. In order to compile image , start with at least 40 GB of virtual HD. I do not now about virtualbox, I use vmware there I can assign The maximum HD space I wan't whitout that's its fully used for a virtual HD

If you put

INHERIT += "rm_work"

into site.conf or local.conf, the build will clean up the work dir while building. This reduces the disk requirement considerably.

Makefile-2.1 :

# Specify a target machine
# DMM : dm8000, dm7020hd, dm800se, dm500hd, dm7025
# Clarktech/Xtrend : et9x00, et6x00, et5x00
# VU : vuultimo, vuduo, vusolo, vuuno

where is dm800 ? ;)
