I use the makefile2.1 to complie the enigma2 for DM500HD
and do the rootfs stage ,the error is following,can anbody have some ideas to solve this problem

At this moment 2.1 is for dm800 and does work for dm8000. For dm500 I gues it will come but maintainers did not come that far yet.

a small note. It seems that you are just missing one package, gst-plugin sout****

Check the log and try to see why this gst-plugin did not compiled. I it's just because there was a missing pack due to broken link. google around find it place it in your sources directory. remove the same package perhaps present in your resources directory with a .lock behind.

I use the makefile2.0 to make the image on ubuntu 11.04,it works perfectly

Hmm, maybe a build order problem. Maybe enigma2.bb misses a DEPENDS on one of the gst-... recipes, so that enigma2 is compiled before gstreamer?

Iirc there were some issues with incorrect dependency resolution in betake 1.12. I used a newer version for a while but it gave other problems. Eventually I switched back to 1.12, the problems didn't recur, so I just went on. The dm500hd was in fact the first box with a working 2.1.
