Hello

The file rytec.channels-finland.xml.gz need some correction.

I downloaded with wget on a linux box and unpack the file with gunzip , and check whith command: file

wget http://www.vuplus-co...-finland.xml.gz
gunzip rytec.channels-finland.xml.gz

ls -l rytec.channels-finland.xml
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 98279 Aug 16 12:03 rytec.channels-finland.xml

file rytec.channels-finland.xml
rytec.channels-finland.xml: ISO-8859 English text, with CRLF line terminators

head -n5 rytec.channels-finland.xml
²<?xml version="1.0" encoding="latin-1"?>
<!-- service references can be found in /etc/enigma2/lamedb -->
<channels>
<!-- Telenor Finland 1W -->
<channel id="">1:0:19:11fc:30:46:e060000:0:0:0:</channel> <!-- Barclays PL HD -->

The first character on XML head line "²" is when i check with command: od -h

od -h rytec.channels-finland.xml |head -n1
0000000 3cb2 783f 6c6d 7620 7265 6973 6e6f 223d

HEX CHAR = b2 .

Please , can anybody take away character HEX "b2" in the beginning of first line.

And please, also save the file in UNIX/Linux style text format without CRLF .

Thanks
/silviob

Thanks alot for the fast update !

When you have time, please use Linux kommand:
dos2unix rytec.channels-finland.xml
or similar.

End-of-line CRLF are still there

Before I used pspad, this gave problems when using more the xx number of lines.
Now I'm using Notepad++ to edit these files.
Any suggestions?

These CR/LF do not matter for this file. Of course we are using Linux here and Linux (Unix) style coding does not have them.
