I think the easiest solution is to create a special skin and the fields that should alight the different way should get an additional halign="right"

So it are nog the lines that are swapped, but the alligment.. Useually the allighment is left to right, but you need right to left. Please note this is arrange in the skins, so if you create a patch for the skins this may be solved...

I have only enigma2 - 2 days ... so I test skin and fonts with E1 but never solved ... cause skin ...it's only colors and position it's not involved into EPG data (bidi function send it) I assume !
so u think there a different case with E2? I will test soon and I pray to solve that problem

It is not a skin problem, but standard the alignments are simply to the left. In the skin you can change fields to align right.

Or someone should find an easy way to align it depending on a config setting or so in case a skin does not dictate right or left alignment.

@littlesat we talk about EPG ... you can alignment text right or left but u can't invert LINE DOWN2UP !!
I tried a lot with E1 to modify my own skin ... but always get same result and I think skin at E2 is the same case
maybe I should more to play with skins

Put(replace) this file in /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/FlexSetup/data/

then start FlexSetup-Plugin and press green.
after GUI-restart try the ChannelSelection again.

I think you could change it here manually "share/enigma2/skin_default.xml" or in any skin u have !

Now I understand it...

We read from left to right... say A B C D E... when you rewrap this you get
A B C
D E

You read from right to left... say E D C B A... when you rewrap this you get (with EPG)
E D C
B A

So the lines get swapped... And you also have to read from bottom to top.

Could someone post a IPK of that VAI plugin here, so we are able to put this on our download server...

The skin-valihdflex has not the good format for our server.
