Hello
I have a problem with my et9000,it wont boot all i get is 3 flashes of blue light from the power button.There is nothing in the display just black,i only bought the reciever on thursday.Is this a common problem?Is there anyway to fix it?

did you contact your shop you bought it from?

As far as I know this means the box is really dead-return it for replacement.
It looks like a battery failure, did you (accidentally) touch/remove the battery on the security board?

the battery has nothing to do with the box not booting

From what i have seen even if you remove the security board totally the box still boots but the drivers won't load.

I had one of these boxes too, they seem to come from a very early production and have problems. (mine was a ClarkTech)

I would suggest return it and get a new one (that does not have this problem).

I put the new bootloader and openpli 2.1 from thursday.Everything was working ok.On friday cccam stop working it would not read my local card,i had to do a hard reset.On saturday the same problem i restarted the softcam but still no picture.I tried a hard reset but still no picture.I unplug it for a hour and everything seemed ok.On sunday i tried to restarted the box but all i got is a blank display and 3 or 4 blue lights.I cant think of anything i did wrong.

It might be a defective harddrive.
I had this with the second box that I bought.
Can you hear it spinning up as normal, or is it stuttering/not spinning up at all?

shut down the power for 24 hr to be sure unplug it .
and than try again
i did read it in an other forum. So I hope its a good suggestion
