Hello
I have downloaded todays openpli for dreambox 7020 and installed in cf with flashwizard.
Everything is fine except I cant download any addons (skins, ppanels etc)
The message I keep getting is check you internet connection.
I can telnet to the box and from there I can ping downloads.pli-images.org with no problem.
Also the funny thing is that it let me to update to the latest menu.
Please can anybody help?

Is your DNS really working well?
Are ports 80 and 443 open to the internet? Enigma does not support proxies.

When I try "update your dreambox software" I get
downloading http://downloads.pli...020/packages.gz
inflating http://downloads.pli...020/packages.gz
updated list of available packages in /usr/lib/ipkg/official
nothing to be done
and it is downloading official because i deleted it first

I've read about this problem since a few days. In most cases it solved itself the next day.
I have no better answer for now. The download servers are up and running but it looks like something sometimes goes wrong.

I think there is something broken in this image or a problem in the addons server since I have installed gemini and I can download fine with exactly the same settings. The problem is I like Pli !!

We're talking about a DM7020 right?

I can see in the logs you've tried to download that file with the browser, and got a 404 (file does not exist).

Which seems logical, since a DM7020 is an Enigma(1) box, which doesn't use ipkg packages, it uses the ppanel software menu, which downloads http://downloads.pli...oftware.tar.gz.

Currently in use: VU+Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), Amiko Viper T2C (T2), SAB Alpha Triple HD (S2+T2), Zgemma H3.T2C (T/C), Zgemma H6 (fallback), VU+Zero (fallback)

On the box: Menu, Setup, Software Management, Downloads. See the wiki: http://openpli.org/w...ftwareDownloads

If you have installed the latest image, it's quite logical that when you try to update it, you'll get the message that you are already up to date. But updating hasn't got anything to do with installing add-ons...

edit: I can see in the logs you're downloading, so I guess you've found it?

Currently in use: VU+Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), Amiko Viper T2C (T2), SAB Alpha Triple HD (S2+T2), Zgemma H3.T2C (T/C), Zgemma H6 (fallback), VU+Zero (fallback)

7020 has an openembedded image, so it has an ipk feed, which should be working.

The TS mentioned earlier "updated list of available packages in /usr/lib/ipkg/official, nothing to be done". Which indicates that is working as advertised.

The question was about plugins, which for an E1 box is not in the ipkg feed...

Currently in use: VU+Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), Amiko Viper T2C (T2), SAB Alpha Triple HD (S2+T2), Zgemma H3.T2C (T/C), Zgemma H6 (fallback), VU+Zero (fallback)

sorry for not answering but yesterday I stayed up late trying to fix it. Finally I flashed openpli (to flash not cf) with no flashwizard and no multiboot and everything worked fine. Thanks very much everyone who tried to help.

It´s about updating your image, I suppose. The normal downloads should work.
The feed is not present indeed. That sometimes happens if a build on our build server fails.

By the way, you don´t need to update. The 7020 image hasn´t been changed for weeks.

@daf2000,

what do you mean by "feed is not available"? As far as I can see, everything is online?

Currently in use: VU+Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), Amiko Viper T2C (T2), SAB Alpha Triple HD (S2+T2), Zgemma H3.T2C (T/C), Zgemma H6 (fallback), VU+Zero (fallback)

This link: http://downloads.pli...020/packages.gz as kranas97 posted. That's the feed, not the software.tar.gz for the menu updates etc.

Before one of my first replies I checked that link, and I checked the server, and found the file to be there AND downloadable. Hence my confusion.

Currently it is indeed not there, due to the cleanup of the servers by pieterg a few hours ago. After tonights build, the feed should be present again.

Currently in use: VU+Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), Amiko Viper T2C (T2), SAB Alpha Triple HD (S2+T2), Zgemma H3.T2C (T/C), Zgemma H6 (fallback), VU+Zero (fallback)
