If you have http and https active, and you connect unintended with http, it's a security risk.
So if you disable http, this can not happen. ;)
Do you know what i mean? It's more secure if the non-secure services are completely disabled.

As a workaround, you could just move it to any other port than 80, so that just replacing "https" with "http" won't work if there's nothing on port 80. Actually, port "0" should be valid, it's "any available port" and since the server announces itself through avahi, that ought to work...

Yes thats a work around. But i thought selecting port 0 is not possible.

I will try it again.

Hi guys, is here any way to integrate Kodi in OpenWebIf? I am thinking to control Kodi from OpenWebIf remote and also to stream from Kodi plugins similar to streaming the tv channels.
Kodi has few web interfaces, they control Kodi but none of them has a useful streaming option

Is there a way to disable this in the web interface:

PLI got an option to hide 'numerieke markeringen', WEBIF should have that too!

Hi,

Rename isn't for service name... only for marker.

Hi,

I would like to report a problem with webif interface. If i remember well in previous versions of openwebif you could see the progress bar in the movies section. The last version of openwebif in my vu plus solo 4k doesn´t update the progress bar of the movies being watched.

Openwebif only shows the progress-bar for the movies that have been reproduced directly from the box. However, if you start watching a recorded movie from the Openwebif interface then the progress bar is not updated. I think that was working previously.

Is this feature broken or did i forgot to configure something?

Thanks a lot for your work. I am looking forward any comment.

Best regads,

Joniale

Movies being played from a CIFS share by any chance?

If so, see https://wiki.openpli...on_a_CIFS_mount

Thanks for the info.

However,  I mean watching the movies using streaming from VLC player. I think the box should also store the progress status when you are streaming from URL. It should be possible.

I download the .m3u8 and i start streaming with VLC player. The Enigmabox should detect the streaming request and update the progress bar.

Best regards,

joniale

I am not sure it can do that, Enigma has no clue what you are doing with the bits at the other end. And there is lots of buffering involved, so what has been transmitted is not equal to what has been seen.

Anyway, adding it reliably won't be easy.

Thanks WanWizard,

It is not necessary to be accurate, at least we need a flag to know that this movie has already been watched. This is very useful if you have a serie and a lot of chapters. You are interested to know which chapters have already been seen.

Besides, you would also like to reset activaly the progress bar somehow from the openwebif. This is for privacy reasons. Maybe this is possible through extra buttons if this is not possible to do through the data collected from the box.

That would be very useful.

Best regards,

joniale
