I'm 100% sure that this happened when no cache was started yet... But (currently) I do not know how to solve it - sorry....

so for now, to avoid 'surprises', the best solution is to use @metoo's hint - to set as a startup service the one with txt available...

but txt caching is a handy feature, imho

Other boxers do not have this issue as you can even not select teletext on a channel with no teletekst service. So you do not have to possiblity to select a teletekst service from another channel on the same provider. So in fact the bug in tuxtxt is masked out. An in addition they do not have cache... As far I can see TuxTxt need a fix that a cache is started properly under these conditions...

Other boxers...

?? :)
you meant other e2 images?
and yes, txt caching is one of very many (like eg. user support :)) OpenPli advantages that make this image hands down 'best thing in town' :D
//and regarding this tuxtxt bug - it's not big issue by any means, we can (hapily) live with it...
thank you :)

It would be nice if txt pages with subpages don't automatically advance to next subpage. That is still annoying me, reading a page... half way page is replaced with next subpage.

That is something you can switch of by a tuxtxt setting that cannot be programmed via the UI of tuxtxt... It was somewere on the board before. Probably someone can find it again??

Think you mean enable hex pages, can be done by editing tuxtxt.conf file. But this is not what I'm looking for.

It would also work if tuxtxt is pausing longer between the subpages. If it isn't going quick enough I can always use the remote to advance to next subpage.

This should go the same way as the hex numbers...

tuxtxt2.cfg following parameters are useably. Nothing usefull for delaying or auto advancing subpages

ScreenMode16x9Divided 1
Brightness 16
MenuLanguage 1
AutoNational 1
NationalSubset 5
SwapUpDown 0
ShowHexPages 0
Transparency 0xA
TTFWidthFactor16 28
TTFHeightFactor16 16
TTFShiftX 0
TTFShiftY 0
Screenmode 0
ShowFLOF 1
Show39 1
ShowLevel2p5 1
DumpLevel2p5 0
UseTTF 0
StartX 50
EndX 670
StartY 30
EndY 555

never seen that tuxtext will jump automaticly to the nex subpage

Indeed there is no setting for this... See http://openpli.org/f...__fromsearch__1

Try this: go to SBS-6 zap to a news page, start reading / don't touch anything on the remote, after 2 seconds the next subpage wil appear and on that page there sometimes as little as 2 words :(

Without background cache you did not have this problem ;)

True, but I very like the fast teletxt processing of openpli images. So that's not an option.
I can't add this feature myself right now so I'm hoping someone else would add it for me.

well, it works like most tv's handle sub-pages;
the pages rotate automatically, untill you've manually selected a subpage (left/right).
Then it will stay on the selected subpage, untill you manually switch to the next one.

regarding original problem, we didn't have to wait too long - seems that the fix is on the way /?/
