I have mount a disk as NAS in my dreambox dm500hd, and i want to used as a swapfile, i have already created the file but i can not activated, it says invalid arguments, is it possible to do this or do you have to change your image to make it work, that would be nice for me.
there is no option to create in /media/net/, only /media/hdd or usb or cf etc...good work...thanks

As far as I know you can't swap on an NFS (or SMB) partition.

I have a network swap set up on an NFS share as @hemi described and it works fine.
